The annual Safe Harbors Off-Broadway 5K run/walk will be held this Sunday, May 19, starting at 9:00 AM. Race specifics can be found on their website. The race enters the Town of Newburgh on Grand Ave., where it proceeds north and turns around at the Newburgh Beacon Bridge, returning to the City. Southbound traffic on Grand Ave. will be diverted onto Downing Ave. Motorists are asked to travel with caution in the area of Grand Ave. and to be mindful of the racers in the area.
