The following is an important message from New Jersey American Water. New Jersey American has issued a precautionary Boil Water Advisory for our customers within a small section of Neptune Township and Asbury Park. There has been a temporary pressure loss in the drinking water system that resulted from a Township construction project. While we conduct the required sampling in the local distribution system, you will need to boil your water before consumption. Please note that this is a standard precaution that is taken whenever there is loss of pressure in water mains. There is no evidence of any contamination. New Jersey American Water will provide information as to when the advisory is lifted.
