Incident Summary
On May 8, 2019, at 4:43 PM, the Petaluma Police Department received a report of a robbery which had just occurred at Bank of America on N. McDowell Blvd. At the same time, a silent alarm was also received from the bank.
Officers responded to the scene and discovered that the suspect had fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Store employees reported the suspect had passed a note demanding money. The suspect was not observed with a weapon and it is unknown if they were armed during the incident. No employees were injured during the commission of this robbery.
The suspect was described as an Asian or Hispanic male adult approximately 40 years of age. The suspect was last seen wearing a long sleeve gray shirt with a camouflage A’s logo on the front, a dark colored hat with light colored bill, blue jeans, light colored shoes, carrying messenger style bag.
The Petaluma Police Department’s Investigations Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. At this time Detectives are seeking assistance identifying the suspect.
