The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s office is in the area of Hwy 1 N / Hwy 943 N in Donaldsonville at this time searching the area for 2 black male suspects; one armed, one unknown if armed. 1 black male is wearing a red shirt and armed with a handgun. The other black male is wearing a blue shirt and some type of knit hat, unknown if he is armed. Please keep all doors locked, stay inside and remain vigilant.
