Have a fun & safe 4th of July holiday. Wanna enjoy fireworks? Please go to a professional display show! Plz RT!

As a reminder, Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code prohibits the the possession, manufacture, storage, sale, handling and use of fireworks. Fireworks, including bottle rockets, roman candles, fountains, spinning jennies, pinwheels, and sparklers, can be dangerous, especially to children, and are illegal in Henrico County. What may seem like an innocent firework can reach temperatures above 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit and can cause serious burns, fire, or worse. There were more than 9,500 injuries, 30,000 fires, more than $34 million in property damage reported nationwide in 2008 associated with firework use. This includes 71 fires in Virginia alone with $207,000 in property loss.

Be sure to take in one of the professional display shows being held throughout the region. Locations can be found online at http://www2.richmond.com/content/2009/jun/16/fireworks-fourth-july/
