The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas for... Northern White County in southeastern Illinois... Wayne County in south central Illinois... Wabash County in southeastern Illinois... Edwards County in southeastern Illinois... Northern Hamilton County in south central Illinois... Gibson County in southwestern Indiana...

* Until 1045 AM CDT.

* At 825 AM CDT, the public reported that heavy rain in Albion Illinois was causing minor street flooding. The rate at which the rain was falling may cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area . Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen across part of the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Princeton, Mount Carmel, Carmi, Fairfield, Mcleansboro, Fort Branch, Oakland City, Albion, Grayville, Lancaster, Haubstadt, Owensville, Wayne City, West Salem, Crossville, Patoka, Cisne, Enfield, Dahlgren and Allendale. Additional rainfall of one half to one inch is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WABASH, IL ... WAYNE, IL ... EDWARDS, IL ... WHITE, IL ... HAMILTON, IL ... GIBSON, IN
