Investigators connect Frank Mendoza to multiple thefts from the local Lowes Home Improvement

LOCATION: 27847 Greenspot Rd., Highland
SUSPECT: Frank Mendoza, 47-year-old transient of San Bernardino
VICTIM: Lowe’s Home Improvement
SUMMARY:
Between July 2018 and January 2019, a Hispanic male suspect entered the Lowe’s Home Improvement in the City of Highland on multiple occasions, selected high end cordless power tools, and ran out without paying. Through an investigation, the suspect was identified as Frank Mendoza, a documented gang member. Mendoza was arrested on an unrelated charge and was in custody. At the conclusion of the interview and investigation, Mendoza was booked for grand theft.
Investigators are releasing Mendoza’s booking photograph because they developed information that led them to believe Mendoza was involved in many thefts in various retails stores throughout Southern California.
