SUMMARY:

In April 2019, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department were notified of sexual acts against a minor child, which occurred in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. Detectives assumed the investigation and conducted an extensive interview with the 17-year-old male victim. Detectives learned the victim met Frank Geraci over three years ago when the victim was 14 years of age. The two began a sexual relationship with one another, which continued over the next three years. Geraci engaged in oral sex and sodomy with the victim multiples times within the city of Rancho Cucamonga and at Geraci’s residence in Los Angeles.

Geraci provided the victim with lavish gifts and money in an attempt to lure the victim into performing continuous sexual acts.

On Thursday, April 25, 2019, Geraci communicated with the victim and agreed to meet the victim at a pre-designated location in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts. Detectives were at that location waiting and Geraci was taken into custody without incident. Evidence was recovered from the vehicle, corroborating the purpose of the meeting.

Detectives responded to Geraci’s home in Los Angeles and executed a search warrant at his residence. Detectives seized additional evidence corroborating the allegations. He was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center on various charges of sexual acts against a child.

The victim also engaged in another relationship with Jose Rosales-Becerra, whom he met through a social media application approximately one year ago. Becerra and the victim engaged in various sexual acts multiple times with one another, which included oral copulation and sodomy.

On Friday, April 26, 2019, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department’s Multiple Enforcement Team located Rosales-Becerra in the city of Hacienda Heights. He was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center on various charges of sexual acts against a child.

The case was presented to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office in Rancho Cucamonga on Monday, April 29, 2019. The district attorney filed ten felony counts against Geraci, and four felony counts against Rosales-Becerra. Both suspects were arraigned in Superior Court on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Becerra-Rosales is currently being held in custody at the High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $1,000,000 bail. Geraci was released from custody on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 after posting a bail bond.

Both suspects are scheduled to be in Rancho Cucamonga Superior Court on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 for a pre-preliminary hearing on these charges.

Based on the details of the investigation, it is believed there may be additional minor victims who have engaged in sexual acts with Geraci and/or Rosales-Becerra. Detectives are releasing the booking photos of both suspects.
