The National Weather Service in Lincoln IL has issued a
* Flood Warning for
The Mackinaw River near Congerville.
* From this morning until Friday morning.
* At 645 AM Wednesday the stage was 13.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 16.2 feet by this
evening. The river will fall below flood stage early Friday
morning.
Instructions:
Do not walk, swim, or drive through flood waters. Turn Around, Don't Drown! Stay off of bridges over fast-moving water. Determine how best to protect yourself based on the type of flooding. Evacuate if told to do so.
