The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has started a construction project on the northbound off-ramp of the I-15 Freeway at Second Street in Norco. This project will add a second left turn lane (three lanes total) from the off-ramp onto Second Street. This project will require the contractor to reduce the existing off-ramp to one lane using concrete K-rails for the duration of the project in order to safely conduct the scheduled work. This project is anticipated to conclude in early July. Due to the reduction in lanes, significant traffic congestion is anticipated on the off-ramp. Drivers should consider alternate routes during peak usage periods (typically morning and evening rush hours).
