Correction on date: Robbery occurred 4/28 Police Investigating Armed Robbery at S. Jackson Captain D's 
On April 28 around 9:50 p.m., Jackson police responded to a robbery at Captain D’s, located at 1761 S. Highland Avenue. The preliminary investigation revealed that two armed suspects entered the business and took personal items from employees and cash from the business. The suspects were last seen running southwest from the business and into the wood line. There were no reported injuries.
Officers set up a perimeter, and a Police K-9 searched the area. The K-9 recovered evidence related to the robbery. The investigation is ongoing.
Suspect 1 was wearing a blue hoodie, black pants, and white gloves with a bandana over his face. He was armed with a black handgun.
Suspect 2 was wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and white gloves with a bandana over his face. He was armed with a long gun.
