Incident in the 1400 Block of Shirley St on 4/26/19. 
The Green Bay Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Admiral Ct and eventually to the 1400 block of Shirley St on the west side of Green Bay for a report of a male subject causing several disturbances. Upon officers arrival to these areas, a male subject was located and found to be acting very erratic. Officers were able to make contact with the male who would not listen to the officers commands. The subject was later taken into custody by officers and then appeared to have some sort of medical emergency. Officer provided medical assistance to the male, and GBMFD also responded to the scene to provide further medical aid. The subject was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Per State Law, if an in custody death occurs, and outside agency must investigate the incident. The Green Bay Police Department is working with the Appleton Police Department, who is investigating this incident.
