SUMMARY:
While deputies were parked in an unmarked patrol car at Walgreens on an unrelated matter, they observed a suspicious vehicle. The passenger reached out of the door and removed the license plate off of a car parked next to the deputies. The suspect vehicle had two females; they parked and went inside the store. Deputies contacted the females as they were attempting to leave the parking lot and identified them as Breshanay Coleman and Euzhane Lee. Through investigation, deputies discovered Coleman and Lee walked out of the store without paying for numerous over the counter medications. When deputies searched the vehicle, they found several trash bags filled with more medication Coleman and Lee stole throughout the day between Compton and Rancho Cucamonga. Deputies also found stolen license plates in addition to the one on their vehicle. The total value of the stolen medication was over $8,000.
Coleman and Lee were arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center. Additionally, Lee was booked on eight outstanding warrants from Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, El Segundo and Burbank.
