Reminder : National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Tomorrow (April 27, 2019) 
A reminder that if you have unwanted/expired medication you would like to dispose of please join us for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 27, 2019 from 10am-2pm at the City of El Segundo Maintenance Facility (150 Illinois Street, El Segundo, CA 90245). ESPD and the Drug Enforcement Agency will be there to take unwanted medications so they can be safely disposed of, no questions asked. Sorry but syringes will be accepted at this event.
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day addresses a crucial public safety and public health issue. Studies have shown that a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet.
The DEA’s Take Back Day events provide an opportunity for Americans to prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths.
