****The East Brunswick Police Department is Investigating a Suspicious Incident & Seeking Assistance****

The East Brunswick Police Department is investigating a suspicious incident in which a juvenile reported being approached by an adult male at a bus stop. The initial report to police was belated and received at approximately 4:53pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. The incident occurred at approximately 3:42pm on the corner of Arthur Street and Willow Street. At this time, an older white male was driving a black Ford pickup truck with an unknown NJ vehicle registration. The driver put his window down and told the juvenile “hey kid come here.” The child ran down the street while the driver continued to call him to “come here.” The vehicle was last observed traveling east on Arthur Street and making a right turn onto Old Bridge Turnpike southbound. The vehicle was described as a Ford pickup truck with a “horse-like” decal on the back window, a construction light bar on top of the roof and tinted windows.

Police are conducting increased directed patrols of the area and the East Brunswick Police Department's Investigative Bureau is investigating the incident.
