Early morning pursuit nets two wanted subjects.

On April 24, 2019, at 3:20 a.m. Deputy U.B. Smith attempted to stop a vehicle for a moving violation. The vehicle then began to flee Deputy Smith by leading him on a brief chase throughout the southeast end of Princeton. However, the driver stopped and exited the vehicle near the intersection of Prince and Tennessee street. As the driver attempted to flee the scene a Taser cartridge was deployed and 46 year old Gene Komosa Jr. of Henderson, Kentucky was taken into custody. Further a female passenger 46 year old Rebecca McLevain also of Henderson, Kentucky was also taken into custody.

After a brief investigation marijuana and hypodermic needles were found on Mr. Komosa's person. Further Deputy Smith learned that Mr. Komosa had an outstanding warrant through Tennessee on a probation violation on a aggravated burglary charge down there. Deputy Smith also learned that Ms. McLevain had an outstanding warrant through Gibson County.

At the conclusion of the investigation both Mr. Komosa and Ms. McLeavin were transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Jail Ms. McLevain was held on her outstanding warrant and Mr. Komosa was charged with:

Possession Of Marijuana
Resisting Law Enforcement (Fleeing in a vehicle)
Resisting Law Enforcement (Fleeing on foot after being ordered to stop)
Resisting Law Enforement
Unlawful Possession of a Syringe
Operating a Vehicle Without Ever Having Received a Valid License
Reckless Driving.
