Deputies respond to a suspicious person/trespassing call and arrest a parolee in possession of narcotics

INCIDENT: HS11378- Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale
LOCATION: Avenue H / California St., Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Michael Andrew Riley , 36 years old, resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
On April 17, 2019, deputies responded to a report of a suspicious male seen trespassing at an abandoned medical building. When deputies arrived, a male ran from the location and deputies pursued. Deputies caught and detained the man on an adjoining street and detained him without incident. He was identified as Michael Riley and found to be on parole.
During a parole search, deputies located about 41 grams of methamphetamine in his vehicle. Deputies also located indicative of drug sales. Riley was booked at Central Detention Center and is being held without bail.
