At 11:37 am, Doppler radar indicated the leading edge of a cluster of thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles southwest of Clarkesville to 8 miles northwest of Carnesville to 6miles west of Danielsville, and moving north at 60mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Toccoa, Clarkesville, Carnesville, Cornelia, Baldwin, Demorest, Mount Airy, Alto, Martin and Avalon.
Winds gusts up to 50mph and very heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches
per hour will be possible in these areas. These storms may intensify.
