Full Notification

On 4/18/19, at approximately 6:10 pm, police were called to the area of Logan Road and Madison Ave in reference to gunshots heard in the area. Officers arrived on scene and learned that a resident on Madison Ave. heard several gunshots outside the home. Further investigation revealed that at least one of the gunshots heard struck the side of a house on Madison Ave. No one was injured in that home and no other injuries were reported. Officers on scene recovered shell casings from the area of Logan Road and Madison Ave. The incident is currently under investigation by the Ocean Township Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.
