After 8am today-Main St. W/B between Chester & Church closed for emergency utility work. E/B will be open. Use caution 
PSE&G will be replacing an underground transformer in the area of 111 W. Main St. that malfunctioned overnight. After 8am--Main St. westbound will be closed to all but local traffic at Chester Ave. No traffic will be permitted westbound past Mill & High Sts. Main St. eastbound will be open. The repairs are expected to continue into Thursday night. Expect traffic delays in the area. Motorists are encouraged to use either New Albany Rd. or Rt. 38 as alternate routes to minimize delays.
Use caution if you must drive in the area. Watch for workers in the roadway. Officers will be in the area to assist with traffic.
