City of Somersworth Announcement

Road Construction to Resume on April 22, 2019
The City of Somersworth Department of Public Works and Utilities is proceeding with remaining FY2019 road repairs this upcoming spring. Due to the early-onset cold weather last fall, several repairs were postponed until this spring when weather conditions again allow for paving. The list of streets where work was postponed, and will re-commence this April and May includes: High Street (Blackwater Road to Franklin Street), Tates Brook Road, and Garden Street. Additionally, a wearing course of asphalt will be placed on Horne Street. Weather-permitting, the current projected schedule is to begin work on High Street, Tates Brook Road, and Garden Street the week of April 22, 2019, with paving completed the week of April 29, 2019. The remaining work on Horne Street and Garden Street will be conducted in late April or mid-May.
