Pedestrian Killed in Motor Vehicle Crash 
Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian in Holbrook tonight.
A man was crossing eastbound Veterans Memorial Highway when he was struck by a 2015 Nissan Rogue being driven by a Lake Ronkonkoma woman at approximately 8:50 p.m.
The 37-year-old man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was transported via Holbrook Ambulance to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Nissan was not injured.
The Nissan was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
