HWDPS detectives are investigating an armed home invasion in the 19900 block of Kenosha.

At 2:04 am this morning, HWDPS officers were dispatched to a residence in the 19900 block of Kenosha. Officers were advised that there were men with guns at the location. Upon arrival, officers were informed that several people including the resident were entering the home when they were approached by two adult males, one of them armed with a handgun.

The victims ran into the residence, attempting to flee from the suspects. The suspects entered the home and demanded money.

One of the victims observed a suspect holding a full size Glock firearm. The suspects then fled from the residence on foot.

HWDPS officers conducted a thorough search of the area including using a K-9 team but were unable to locate the suspects. It is believed they left the area in a vehicle.

Suspect #1: B/M, 5’6”, medium complexion, wearing a navy Nike jogging suit, torn T-shirt partially covering face.

Suspect #2: B/M wearing dark clothing, face covered by shirt.

Fortunately, no one was injured during this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the HWDPS or CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-800-SPEAKUP. Detectives are investigating.
