Diversion-type burglary attempts being reported.  CHPD has received reports of actor(s) identifying themselves as Cherry Hill Township employees and claiming they need to check utilities/electric items in the house.  The Cherry Hill Police Department reminds all residents to use caution before allowing entry into their homes.  Always ask for identification and work orders before allowing entry to your home. Do not be afraid to verify a worker's credentials, a legitimate worker will allow you time to confirm their identity and work needed with their company. If there is any question to the authenticity of identification or something seems suspicious, Call Police Dispatch: 856-665-1200.
