The National Weather Service is forecasting High Winds and Critical Fire Weather for tomorrow.
This system will produce strong winds with potentially damaging wind gusts, and very low relative humidities across the South Plains and Rolling Plains resulting in critical to extreme fire weather.

Timing:
•Strongest winds will occur between 3 PM and 7 PM with close to 50 mph sustained and gusts as high as 70 mph.
Impacts:
• Possible tree damage, power outages, and very difficult driving conditions especially on
north-south roads.
• Critical fire weather conditions will
result in a high fire danger.
• Blowing dust, possibly widespread is likely causing further travel issues.
