Sea fog was already settled over the near coastal waters and was beginning to spread inland at sunset. This trend will continue through the evening with fog becoming dense, particularly near bodies of water. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CDT Sunday.
