Dense Fog Advisory until 10:00AM Sunday

Sea fog was already settled over the near coastal waters and was beginning to spread inland at sunset. This trend will continue through the evening with fog becoming dense, particularly near bodies of water. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CDT Sunday.

* VISIBILITY...One-quarter mile or less.

* DURATION...Through mid to late morning Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Reduced visibilities to make safe driving difficult.

* AFFECTED AREAS: HARRISON ... ASSUMPTION ... ST. CHARLES ... JACKSON ... UPPER TERREBONNE ... ST. JAMES ... UPPER PLAQUEMINES ... PEARL RIVER ... ST. TAMMANY ... UPPER JEFFERSON ... UPPER ST. BERNARD ... LOWER ST. BERNARD ... HANCOCK ... ORLEANS ... SOUTHERN TANGIPAHOA ... LOWER LAFOURCHE ... ASCENSION ... LOWER TERREBONNE ... UPPER LAFOURCHE ... LOWER JEFFERSON ... LOWER PLAQUEMINES ...
