Deputies arrest Cameron Dollar for obstruction and resisting a peace officer

DATE: April 5, 2019 / 12:09 a.m.

INCIDENT: PC 148(A)(1) – Obstruct/Resist Peace Officer

LOCATION: Archibald Ave/Base Line Rd

SUSPECT: Cameron Dollar, 31-year-old resident of Bakersfield

SUMMARY:
In the early morning hours of April 5, 2019, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department were conducting extra patrol near Base Line Rd. and Archibald Ave. Deputies contacted a man who appeared to be under the influence. As deputies tried to identify him, he gave a fictitious name but was ultimately identified as Cameron Dollar. Dollar fled on foot and began discarding extra clothing along the way in an attempt to hide. Deputies set up a perimeter, and with the help of Sheriff’s Aviation, Dollar was found hiding in bushes near the Pacific Electric Trail. Dollar is on probation and was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for resisting a peace officer and an outstanding warrant from Bakersfield.
