* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for... Southern St. John The Baptist Parish in southeastern Louisiana... South central St. James Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southern St. Charles Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Northern Terrebonne Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Lafourche Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Northwestern Jefferson Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Central Assumption Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 1218 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Houma, Thibodaux, Cut Off, Larose, Lockport, Mathews, Schriever, Paradis, Gray, Des Allemands, Luling, Boutte, Supreme, Raceland, Chackbay, Bayou Gauche, Labadieville, Bayou Cane, South Vacherie and Estelle. Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is expected over the next few hours across the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
