South Los Angeles Station detectives are asking for your help in identifying three suspects who are wanted for the robbery and attack on a convenience store patron, on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at approximately 10:00 p.m., on the 11200 block of Normandie Ave., Los Angeles.

Detectives learned that the victim was in the back of the store doing some shopping when Suspect #1 approached him and complimented him on the victim’s shoes.  The victim then walked to the front of the store and proceeded to get in line to pay for his merchandise. As the victim was standing in line, Suspect #1 began to push the victim towards the back of the store at the same time Suspect #2 and #3 followed and surrounded the victim. While the suspects surrounded him, Suspect #3 punched the victim in the head and Suspect #1 reached into the victim’s pockets. Suspect #1 forcefully grabbed the victim’s gold chain from his neck, green “Jordan” basketball shoes that the victim was wearing and a large amount of cash.  

All three suspects ran out of the store and fled northbound on Normandie Ave in a gray compact vehicle that was parked at the location. The suspect’s vehicle has minor damage to the rear driver’s side door.

The suspects are described as the following:
Suspect #1, male Black, between 30-35 years old, 6’0” and 290 pounds. Suspect #2 and #3, male Black, between 28-30 years old, 5’08" and150 pounds.
