(Mountain Ranch, CA) On 03-29-2019 members of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for an illegal indoor marijuana grow at a residence in the 8000 block of Mountain Meadow Drive in Mountain Ranch. Investigators found an entire two story house, barn and carport had been converted for marijuana cultivation. A total of 2,111 marijuana plants were seized. No suspects were found at the location.

Calaveras County Code Compliance was contacted and posted the structure as substandard due to hazardous electrical conditions, no permits for interior structural changes, and an unpermitted indoor diesel generator. This investigation is ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
