Aviod the 1000 to 1200 block of E. Mission Blvd. for the next four hours due to traffic incident investigation. 
In the area of 1057 E Mission Blvd. at about 0608 hours there was a traffic collision involving a pedestrian. The Pomona Police Department Traffic Officers responded to the locaiton and conducted their investigation. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the traffic collision. The pedestrian is a 20-30 year-old male African-American and he did not survive his injuries.
There will be a street closure during the investigation, which is believed to last approximately 4-hours. The area affected by the closure will include; east and westbound Mission Blvd between Reservoir and the 1200 block of Mission Blvd.
