At several points throughout 2018, an unidentified man was reported as exposing himself and masturbating in public in the area of Dwight Way and Etna Street.  Recognizing this pattern, patrol officers conducted several surveillance operations in the hopes of catching this suspect.  In November 2018, the activity suddenly stopped after an officer detained a suspicious person in the area.  In cooperation with Sex Crimes detectives, patrol officers continued their investigation into the suspicious person, which later culminated into an arrest warrant for multiple counts of indecent exposure.  On March 23^rd 2019, the suspect was arrested by BPD and CHP for the arrest warrant.  On March 25^th, the District Attorney’s Office charged the suspect with four counts of indecent exposure.
