Fatal Crash Investigation 500 S. Taylor 
The Sheboygan Police Department is investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian.
The crash happened on 03/25/2019 at 11:00 am in the southbound lanes of Taylor Dr. just south of Erie Ave. A vehicle driving southbound struck a pedestrian who was walking in the southbound traffic lanes.
Sheboygan Police Officers and Firefighter paramedics performed life-saving measures on scene. The victim was transported to St. Nicholas hospital but did not survive.
At this time, the identities of those involved in this crash are being withheld while the investigation is being conducted and the family of the decedent located and proper notification is made.
The SPD Crash Reconstruction Team is leading the investigation of this accident. The southbound lanes of Taylor Dr. remain closed between Erie Ave and Taylor Heights Frontage Rd. while the scene investigation is taking place. Southbound traffic is being re-routed onto eastbound Erie Ave.
