NOTIFICATION FROM PG&E OF POTENTIAL TRAFFIC IMPACT ON HWYS 101/92 IN SAN MATEO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING
PG&E Performs Electric Distribution Safety Work along Highway 101
SAN MATEO, Calif. — On Sunday, March 24, 2019, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) will make improvements to high voltage electric distribution power lines in San Mateo. The work will take place on Highway 101 between the Highway 92 interchange and Kehoe Avenue.
In order to perform this work safely and as quickly as possible, California Highway Patrol (CHP) will conduct traffic breaks on Sunday, March 24 at 3:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.. Also, the northbound Fashion Island Boulevard on-ramp will be closed from midnight to 9:00 a.m., as well as one lane of the westbound Highway 92 on-ramp to Highway 101 to the worksite. A detour will be in place. Drivers should anticipate slow-downs or plan to take a different route.
