March 12

Vandalism – El Cerrito Plaza:
At 3:58 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect shattered a front window to a business after being asked to leave by employees. The suspect fled the area before officers arrived on scene.

Possession of a Firearm, Warrant Arrest – Cutting Blvd / I-80 on-ramp:
At 7:32 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 26-year-old woman who was in possession of a firearm while inside a vehicle. A 29-year-old male was also arrested after he was found to have a warrant for his arrest. The woman was later released with a citation, and the male was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

March 13

March 14

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue and Eastshore Blvd:
At 10:09 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested an occupant, a 27-year-old female, for an outstanding warrant. The female was positively identified and released at the scene with a citation.

Grand Theft from Person – El Cerrito Plaza:
At 11:14 am, an officer reports two unknown suspects took the victim’s laptop as they were typing. The suspects fled on foot towards the El Cerrito Plaza BART station.

Strong Arm Robbery – 1700 block of Eastshore Blvd:
At 2:18 pm, an officer reports a victim was walking when he was approached from behind by two unknown suspects. The suspects flanked the victim and then one of the suspects stole the victim’s backpack . The suspects fled to an awaiting car parked on Eastshore Boulevard.

Domestic Battery – 11800 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 6:44 pm, an officer reports a woman was assaulted by an ex-boyfriend who fled the area before the police arrived.

Attempted Robbery – 1000 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 9:08 pm, an officer reports a juvenile was approached by a group of juveniles who demanded money and property; however, nothing was taken.

Warrant Arrest – 10100 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 4:05 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 31-year-old male who had a warrant for his arrest. The man was issued a citation and released.

March 15th

Auto Burglaries – Jordan Ave. / Gloria Ave. / Fern Ave. / Conlon Ave: A total of ten vehicles were burglarized in between Jordan , Gloria , Fern and Conlon Avenues. The suspect shattered numerous car windows, rifled the glove boxes, and stole change. The time of occurrence was in between 10:00 pm on 14th and 4:00 am on the 15th.

Robbery – Walgreen’s -11565 San Pablo Ave:
At 12:23 pm, an officer responded to the report of a woman hitting security in the head. The suspect, a 28-year-old Oakland woman, punched the security guard while he was trying to detain her for stealing. The suspect was located at the BART station and positively identified as the responsible. She was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Arson – Ross, 11545 San Pablo Ave:
An officer reported that an unidentified suspect, likely a transient , was sleeping between the trash compactor and the wall. They apparently set a small fire which damaged portions of the trash compactor.

March 16th

Threats, Disorderly Conduct and Probation Violation - 11450 San Pablo Avenue, Safeway:
At 12:53 am, an officer responded to the report of an intoxicated man threatening security. Officers located and arrested a 63-year-old Richmond resident for threatening to shoot the security guard. He was also intoxicated.

Burglary- 7130 Blake Street (East Bay MUD):
At 6:15 pm, a citizen saw a silver vehicle driving erratically on Blake Street. The vehicle pulled into the driveway of the East Bay MUD pump station. The front passenger got out of the vehicle with bolt cutters and cut the lock on the gate. When the citizen was walking on Plank Avenue, the citizen saw the same vehicle driving away from the East Bay MUD building. The citizen walked down to the gate on the Plank side and saw that lock was cut also.

Warrant- 11565 San Pablo Avenue Walgreens:
At approximately 11:00 pm, an officer conducted a suspicious vehicle stop and arrested a 38-year-old female from Marin County on two warrants. The woman was booked and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
