FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING (3/21/19) THROUGH 6 AM FRIDAY MORNING (3/22/19).

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a * Flood Watch for portions of northern Delaware, northeast Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including the following areas, in northern Delaware, New Castle. In northeast Maryland, Cecil and Kent MD. In New Jersey, Camden, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Northwestern Burlington, Salem, Somerset, and Warren. In Pennsylvania, Berks, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lehigh,Lower Bucks, Northampton, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester, and Western Montgomery. * From 8 AM EDT this morning through late tonight * Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts will fall throughout the day today and into tonight. * Bands of moderate to locally heavy rain will develop across the region today, and will continue through tonight. In the areas of heaviest rainfall, urban and poor-drainage flooding may occur. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
