Home Invasion Dubie Avenue

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion that occurred between 5pm on March 17th and 2:30pm on March 18, 2019 in the 500 block of Dubie Avenue. This same residence was burglarized a month prior. Entry was gained via an unlocked rear window, and a television and television stand were stolen.

- Install motion activated lights on the exterior of your home
- Lock all doors and windows
- Keep garage door closed and locked
-If gone for an extended period of time, use timers to activate lights in your home
- Keep trees and shrubs trimmed to minimize ability for burglars to use them as cover
- Don't leave boxes for new purchases (i.e. television box, game console packaging) in plain view
- If you see suspicious activity, call 911
