Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Zoenabo Congo, 31, of Newark, on a charge of Terroristic Threats in an incident that occurred on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., a woman was threatened with a knife by a woman she knows following a quarrel. The victim arrived at Beth Israel Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained during the incident.

Detectives investigating this incident have identified Zoenabo Congo as a suspect in this incident and have secured a warrant for her arrest.

Congo is described as 5’1” tall and 130 lbs. She has a medium brown complexion, brown eyes and black hair.

While police are actively searching for Congo, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing her from our streets. This investigation is ongoing.
