Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose requests the public’s assistance in the investigation of an unknown deceased person located at 15 E. Kinney Place on Saturday, March 9th, 2019.

At approximately 9:35 a.m., police responded to the location on a call of a deceased person. The unidentified body, found wrapped in blankets at the rear of the building, was pronounced at 1:13 p.m. The age, gender and race of the deceased, possibly an adult male, is unknown at this time.

While police are actively investigating this incident, we seek the public’s assistance in providing any information regarding the suspects or victim. It is suspected that the remains have been at the location for the past several months.
