                Deputy Jordon Frisbee of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Calvin Christopher Franklin, 43, address listed as Shell Road in Marion, with assault on a female and assault inflicting serious injury. He was also served with warrants for assault by pointing a gun and communicating threats.
                On the night of Saturday, March 16, Frisbee and Deputy David Jones responded to the report of a domestic dispute on Shell Road.
                They arrived to find that the suspect and his wife, 34-year-old Laura Wiseman, has gotten into a dispute, at which time Franklin struck her in the head with a pistol.
