* Winds...Southwest 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph this evening into tonight and west to northwest 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph Thursday.
* Timing...Higher winds expected through 1 AM CDT Thursday, but strong winds will persist thru 5 PM CDT Thursday.
* Impacts...Driving may be hazardous especially for those traveling in high profile vehicles. Winds this strong will damage trees and power lines, with scattered power outages expected.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BUTLER ... MONTGOMERY ... CHAUTAUQUA ... HARVEY ... COWLEY ... GREENWOOD ... WOODSON ... ELK ... WILSON ... SUMNER ... SEDGWICK ... KINGMAN ... MARION ... HARPER ... CHASE
