Attention Rutgers Community:
The New Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) is investigating a robbery which was reported to have occurred on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at approximately 11:53 PM on Baldwin Street between Jones Avenue and Nichol Avenue.
In this incident the victim, who is not affiliated with Rutgers University, reported that upon making a food delivery to a private residence in the area, he was approached by a male perpetrator, who entered his vehicle and pushed a hard object against his body. Two additional male perpetrators removed items of value from the vehicle and all three fled the area towards Jones Avenue. The victim was not physically injured as a result of this incident.
The descriptions of the perpetrators are limited at this time.
The New Brunswick Police Department asks that anyone with information, or who may have been in the area at the time, contact the NBPD Detective Bureau at 732-745-5217.

• Immediately reporting suspicious activity to local law enforcement;
• Remaining alert and aware of the people and circumstances around you;
