Dense Fog Advisory until 10:00AM Monday
Areas of dense fog will be possible along the southeast Louisiana and Mississippi coasts, land areas near bodies of water such as Lake Pontchartrain, Mississippi River south of Baton Rouge, and the Mississippi Sound. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CDT Monday.
* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less at times.
* DURATION...Until late morning.
* IMPACTS...Motorists are advised to use extreme caution and allow for additional travel time. Use low beams...reduce driving speed and allow for plenty of room between other cars as vehicles and other objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range. This fog will adversely affect Monday morning commute.
