Dense Fog Advisory until 10:00AM Sunday
Dense fog has begun to develop in a few areas over the past hour. Dense fog is expected to be most prevalent near bodies of water such as Lake Pontchartrain, the Mississippi River, and the Mississippi Sound. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning.
* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less at times.
* DURATION...Through mid-morning
* IMPACTS...Motorists are advised to use extreme caution and allow for additional travel time. Use low beams...reduce driving speed and allow for plenty of room between other cars as vehicles and other objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range.
