February 26th

Commercial Burglary –9989 San Pablo Ave( O’Reilly’s Auto Parts):
At approximately 4:20 am, an unknown suspect shattered the front glass door to the business and stole over $1200.00 worth of merchandise.

Auto Burglary – Parking Lot of 11740 San Pablo Ave:
At 10:11 am, a Community Service Officer reports that an unknown suspect shattered the driver side window to the victim’s vehicle and stole his backpack containing a laptop and passport. The theft occurred between 8:00 am – 8:45 am on the 25th.

Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards –11450 San Pablo Ave (Safeway):
At 1:30 pm, a Community Service Officer reports that while the victim was shopping, an unknown suspect stole her wallet containing her credit cards. The suspect then went to Target in Albany and purchased items with the victim’s credit cards.

Vandalism – 10900 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 3:30 pm, a Community Service Officer reports that a group of juveniles shot out the victim’s front window with a BB gun.

Carjacking and Hit and Run – Kearney Ave at Madison Ave:
At 3:58 pm, the victim was seated in her parked vehicle when several juveniles approached her. One of the minors pointed a gun at the victim and demanded her vehicle. The victim attempted to drive away but placed her vehicle in neutral. The suspect fired several shots (later found to be BB’s) at the vehicle shattering the windows of the vehicle. The victim exited her vehicle and fled to St. John the Baptist Church. The suspect attempted to drive the vehicle away but collided into a parked car. All the juveniles fled on foot northbound on the BART Path towards Potrero Ave. The suspects were arrested later in the evening by members of the Oakland and San Francisco Police Departments.

Vandalism – 10900 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 5:23 pm, an officer reports that an unknown suspect shattered the victim’s front window with several BB’s.

Brandishing a Weapon – 11500 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 7:52 pm, an officer reports a suspect approached the victim regarding a disagreement which occurred inside a business. The suspect brandished a weapon and threatened to harm the victim before walking off.

Vandalism – 5900 block of Cutting Blvd:
At 1:23 am, an officer reports a suspect broke several windows to the business with an unknown object before fleeing.

February 27th

Vandalism – 510 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 9:04 am, a Community Service Officer reports that during the night, an unknown suspect vandalized a business with spray paint.

February 28th

Grand Theft from Vehicle – 300 block of San Carlos Ave:
At 10:57 am, a Community Service Officer reports that an unknown suspect stole over $2000.00 worth of tools from the victim’s vehicle. The theft occurred on February 19th.

Auto Burglary – 10042 San Pablo Ave.
At 9:38 pm, an officer reports a suspect broke a window to the victim’s vehicle and removed a backpack containing property. The burglary occurred on February 27th and was not immediately reported to the police.

March 1st

Auto Burglary-8000 El Cerrito Plaza (Macaroni Grill):
An officer responded to the report of an auto burglary that occurred between 7:00 and 7:50 PM. Someone shattered a window to the vehicle and stole items from inside.

March 2nd

Warrant-6009 Potrero Avenue:
An officer located a subject who had an outstanding warrant for their arrest. The subject was issued a citation for the warrant and released from the scene.

Auto Burglary-6120 Potrero Avenue (Los Moles):
An officer responded to the report of an auto burglary that occurred between 8:15 and 8:45 pm. Someone shattered a window to the vehicle but did not steal anything.

Stolen Vehicle-Hill Street at Liberty Street:
An officer responded to the report of a 1998 Infiniti Q45 being stolen sometime between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.

March 3rd

Warrant Arrest- Fairmount Avenue at San Pablo Avenue:
An officer located a subject who had an outstanding warrant for their arrest from El Cerrito PD. The subject was arrested, booked, and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
