UPDATE:
The search on Heather Way has concluded. The neighborhood is no longer on lockdown and residents are returning to their homes.
The Suspect eluded capture tonight but our resources are dedicated to locating him. The investigation is on-going and an update will be provided when more information is available.

Police activity on the 2200 block of Heather Way. Officers are on scene serving a search warrant. The suspect at the residence is a parolee at large and has barricaded himself inside the residence. SWAT is en route.
Officers and our Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) are trying to safely resolve the situation.
