FEMA @ Houston Fire Station 9-1

This Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday, federal FEMA representatives will be at the Houston Fire Department fire station 9-1 at mile 57.1 Parks Highway to answer any questions and help fill out and submit applications for Individual Assistance related to November 30, 2018, 7.0 earthquake. This is an element of the federally declared disaster for the earthquake.

The representatives are on site Monday, March 4, and Tuesday, March 5, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturday, March 9, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Contact Houston City Hall at 907-892-6869 for directions or accessibility needs.

This is for requesting federal assistance related to damages or losses from the earthquake and is in addition to any state request you may have already submitted. You must file directly with the federal representatives if you are requesting federal assistance related to the earthquake.

They will also be available this week as follows:

  • Monday, March 4 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM: Houston Fire Station 9-1
  • Tuesday, March 5 from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM: Talkeetna Library  
  • Wednesday, March 6 from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM: Talkeetna Library  
  • Thursday, March 7 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM: Palmer Library
  • Friday, March 8 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM: Willow Community Center
  • Saturday, March 9 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM: Houston Fire Station 9-1
