SUBJECT: Man Arrested for Gun Possession

ACCUSED: Dayquan Robinson, 20 years of age from Neptune City


NARRATIVE: Patrol officers responded to Burlington Coat Factory for a report of a male subject who threatened to shoot another male. Upon officer’s arrival on scene the accused, Dayquan Robinson, was located and arrested. Dayquan was involved in a domestic incident in the parking lot of Burlington Coat Factory, where he threatened to shoot the victim. The victim then called 911 and Dayquan ran away and hid the handgun he possessed. A search of the area by officers located the loaded handgun.

Dayquan Robinson was charged with Terroristic Threats, Possession of Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Aggravated Assault on P.O., Resisting Arrest, Tampering with Evidence, Obstruction, and Possession of Marijuana. Dayquan was remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute pending a future court hearing.
