All Lanes of West Texas Street Now Open
All lanes of West Texas Street are now open. The lanes were closed due to a major injury collision that occurred at approximately 1:00 am. The collision involved two vehicles and apedestrian. The pedestrian, a 34 year old female and resident of Fairfield, was taken to a local trauma center. She remains in serious condition and is expected to recover.
One of the drivers, 54 year old Alfred Hardwick of Fairfield, was arrested for felony Driving Under the Influence.
This case is being investigated by the Fairfield Police Traffic Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call (707) 428-7524.

AVOID the 1600 block of W. Texas Street. The westbound lanes are closed until further notice due to a traffic collision. Please use alternative routes such as Travis Boulevard, Woolner Avenue, and Highway 12. An update will be sent out as soon as the roadway is open.
