South Brunswick Office of Emergency Management 8:30PM Sunday UPDATE –

The Winter Storm intensity has picked up over the past hour. Most secondary roads are snow covered and hazardous. The South Brunswick School District has announced a 90-minute delayed opening for Monday.  The municipal building will have a delayed opening Monday at 10am.

FORECAST
Evening Update...Temperatures have dipped to near 32 degrees this evening, and pavements have struggled to cover up to this point. Nevertheless, snowfall rates have ramped up significantly over the last hour, beginning to cover most surfaces. A bulk of the snow total will come now through midnight with nearly continuous moderate to heavy snow (with 1"/hr likely) for a majority of the area. 
 
POWER OUTAGES
PSEG is reporting 80 residents without power in the area of Royal Oaks Apartments off Route 1.

VEHICLES
All vehicles need to be moved off Township roads to allow plow crews to operate.
